Gina is a longtime freelance writer specializing in travel, food, profiles, and personal essays. She was a regular contributor to the regional magazines Berkshire Magazine and San Francisco, and her articles have appeared in CROSSROADS cultural arts magazineNewsweek, Salon, Huffington Post, and myriad travel and lifestyle magazines that no longer exist. She has contributed to Fodor’s Travel Publications, National Public Radio, and several anthologies of personal essays.

Her background also includes extensive experience working in marketing and as a public relations consultant for arts, literary, and philanthropic organizations, such as the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center, Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, Berkshire Playwrights Lab, The Mount: Edith Wharton’s House, Hancock Shaker Village, Berkshire Theatre Festival, Heritage Museums and Gardens, Reel Docs Documentary Film Series, and Spencertown Academy Arts Center.
